GR Assistant

Save Ukraine is one of the largest charitable foundations in Ukraine, founded in 2014. The foundation works to protect children and families affected by war. Our mission is focused on the most vulnerable Ukrainians such as orphans, children with disabilities, internally displaced persons, and survivors of violence.

Save Ukraine evacuates families from active combat zones and temporarily occupied territories. We are also the first humanitarian organization that regularly carries out rescue missions to return children forcibly deported to Russia.

We are now looking for a Head of Communications who will lead our global communications strategy and strengthen engagement with international audiences, donors, partners, and the media.

Key Responsibilities

• Build relationships with government bodies in Ukraine and abroad, international institutions, donors, businesses, and civil society organizations.
• Manage partner communications on behalf of the Government Relations (GR) Manager and represent Save Ukraine at meetings and events.
• Organize meetings for the GR Manager and senior leadership, coordinate partner visits, and liaise with the media team.
• Prepare partnership proposals, briefings, presentations, talking points, and official correspondence.
• Document agreements, coordinate follow-up actions, and facilitate the signing of cooperation documents.
• Maintain partner records and communication histories, and prepare regular reports.
• Work with internal teams and monitor relevant public policy initiatives to support partner engagement.

Qualifications

• Experience preparing expense reports.
• Proven track record of executive-level support.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
