Cybersecurity is one of its key practices: SIEM, EDR/XDR, DLP, PAM and vulnerability management.

We are looking for a Cybersecurity Pre-Sales Engineer to join the team in Kyiv.

About the role

You will be the technical voice of GreenNet's cybersecurity team in front of customers. Sales and account managers bring the customers in; you meet them, understand their business, infrastructure and risks, and design the projects and solutions that address them.

The role leans towards pre-sales, communication and solution design, and it is built on real engineering depth. From time to time you will run implementations yourself, so that you stay close to what can actually be delivered.

You will work on projects across the countries where the group operates, from the Kyiv office, reporting to the Head of Cybersecurity.

What you will do

• Run discovery meetings and workshops; turn customers' needs and risks into project proposals

• Gather requirements, define the architecture, size and scope the work; produce High-Level and Low-Level Designs

• Build and run demos and proofs of concept (PoC) hands-on, in the lab and in customer environments

• From time to time, deploy, configure and integrate security solutions (SIEM, EDR/XDR, DLP, PAM, vulnerability management) in key projects

• Run technical security assessments, architecture reviews and gap analyses, and turn the findings into clear recommendations

• Present solutions and PoC results to technical and executive audiences, translating technology into business outcomes

• Lead the technical side of tenders: RFI/RFP responses, solution descriptions and bills of materials (BoM)

• Work with vendors' technical and channel teams on joint opportunities

What we are looking for

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity engineering

• At least 1 year in a customer-facing technical role: pre-sales, solutions engineering, solution architecture, security consulting or technical account management

• Hands-on experience deploying, integrating and troubleshooting solutions in at least two of these domains: SIEM, EDR/XDR, DLP, PAM, DB Firewall, and a solid understanding of the rest

• Strong fundamentals: you can explain how a firewall differs from an IPS, and go a level deeper than the slide

• Ability to explain complex technology in plain language to engineers and executives alike, and to write clear solution designs and proposals

• Fluent Ukrainian and professional English

• Readiness to work from the Kyiv office: 4 days in the office, 1 flexible day

Nice to have

• Experience at a systems integrator, value-added distributor, MSSP or security vendor

• Hands-on experience with vendors such as Splunk, LogRhythm, Gurucul, CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, Digital Guardian, GTB Technologies, Tenable, CyberArk, Delinea, Segura

• Engineer- or administrator-level vendor certifications

• Python / PowerShell scripting, SOAR or API-based integrations

• A broader technical base: networking and network security, Windows/Linux, Active Directory, PKI/TLS, cloud (Azure/AWS, Microsoft 365), MITRE ATT&CK, incident response
