Senior Accountant

Requirements

• higher education: accounting/finance;
• experience in a similar position;
• knowledge of all areas of accounting, tax legislation;
• experience in preparation and submission of reports;
• knowledge of currency legislation;
• experience in tax, internal and external audit;
• computer literacy and excellent knowledge of software (1C, Client-Bank, Medoc, MS Office, Excel, Oracle);
• B2 level of English language proficiency;

Responsibilities

• maintaining all areas of accounting and tax accounting:
• control of primary documents (posting, storage);
• work with the client-bank;
• purchase and sale of foreign currency, accounting;
• bank statements (hryvnia, foreign currency);
• settlements with non-residents;
• control of accounts payable and receivable;
• accounting of fixed assets, inventory, fuel, and prepaid expenses;
• preparation and registration of tax invoices, proportional allocation of VAT, annual VAT recalculation;
• verification and accounting of VAT credits;
• preparation and submission of VAT returns;
• preparation and submission of statistical reports (except for financial statements);
• interaction with banks and regulatory authorities;
• preparation and provision of information in the framework of tax audits, audits of financial statements, requests from regulatory authorities, and financial monitoring;
• interaction with the Shared Service Center for the correct posting of transactions in the Oracle system (providing accounts, uploading to Esker).
