CEO / Director (Non-Bank Financial Company)

We are looking for a CEO / Director to launch and lead a non-bank financial company supervised by the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU).

The company operates in the financial services sector, with a focus on Earned Wage Access (EWA) and lending, and is currently at the startup stage with a changing business model.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the company's strategy and business plan.
• Build the company from the launch stage, including the team, processes and operating model.
• Manage finance, technology, risk, compliance and sales functions.
• Ensure compliance with NBU regulatory requirements, licensing conditions and reporting obligations.
• Launch and develop financial products and partnerships.
• Oversee risk management, compliance and AML processes.
• Manage the company's financial performance and report results to the owners.
• Represent the company in communication with the NBU, banks, partners and government authorities.

Requirements:

Must-have:

• Master's degree, preferably in Finance, Economics, Law or Management.
• 5+ years of professional experience.
• 2+ years of management experience.
• At least 1 year of management experience in financial services.
• Strong business reputation and clean professional background.
• Willingness to pass the NBU approval process, including the required training and exam.
• Fluent Ukrainian.
• Full-time availability — this position must be the candidate's primary employment.

Nice to have:

• Experience in fintech, digital lending or payments.
• Experience launching a company or digital financial product.
• Working proficiency in English.
• Experience working with investors, banks or NBU inspections.
