Data Quality, Operations Specialist (DE0926)

The Role:

As a Data Quality & Operations Specialist, you will work closely with Senior Director of Data (based in New York City), the Data Team, and colleagues across our UK office to ensure that data is accurate, complete, consistent, and delivered on time.

You will work with transaction data throughout the deal lifecycle — from monitoring incoming information and updating deal records to verifying data, publishing deal flow content, and ensuring that client-facing information is accurate.

This role requires more than simply entering data. You will be expected to take ownership of assigned processes, carefully verify information, investigate discrepancies, and proactively determine the best way to resolve issues when something does not look correct.

The working hours will be either 10 am — 7 pm Kyiv time (8:00 am — 5:00 pm UK time) or 11 am — 8 pm Kyiv time (9:00 am — 6:00 pm UK time).

Key requirements:

• Upper to intermediate Excel and Google Sheets knowledge.
• Upper-intermediate or advanced English, both written and spoken.
• Interest and ability to work confidently with large amounts of data and maintain a high level of accuracy.
• Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to reviewing information.
• Strong sense of ownership and responsibility for the final result.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, especially when dealing with non-standard or ambiguous situations.
• Good self-organization and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Proactive approach to work and willingness to take initiative.

Would be a plus:

• Experience in data quality, data verification, data operations.
• Knowledge of capital markets, financial markets, or securities.

Key responsibilities:

• Work closely with Senior Director Of Data (based in New York City), the Data Team, Sales and Support teams, and colleagues across different offices to resolve data-related issues and maintain data quality.
• Maintain and update transaction data in Google Sheets, CRM database of transactions.
• Prepare and publish deal flow posts and commentary for the front-end UI.
• Monitor daily data feeds, email inboxes, and incoming transaction information and ensure that relevant data is processed in a timely manner.
• Respond to customer requests in a timely manner and investigate data-related questions when necessary.
• Perform quality checks on existing transaction records and historical data to identify and correct inaccuracies or missing information.
• Research and manage additional information and data sets that complement our existing and future services.
• Review documents and information published on the company website to ensure consistency and accuracy against source documentation.
• Use AI-powered tools to streamline data collection while taking responsibility for verifying the accuracy of their output.
• Take ownership of assigned data-related processes, ensuring tasks are completed accurately, thoroughly, and on time.
